Named after the Island of Jersey located in the English Channel which is off the coast of France, this species of bull is known for its higher heat enduring capacity when compared to other species of bulls. Jersy Bull has 900 pounds of average weight and it is suitable for intensive grazing program. This breed of bull has comparatively shorter structure than other species of bulls. It has masculine body, especially its shoulders and crests are muscular. Head, shoulders and hips of this species of animal are darker than its other body parts.
